Hey, Mike from Mike Buys Houses here. I just want to talk a little bit about what our home buying process is like, what you can expect during the closing process, and what happens after an agreement is signed.
The first thing that happens after we sign an agreement to purchase your property is that we will schedule a formal walk through with one of our contractors. We will get their opinion about the property’s structure and any potential issues to be aware of.
Once our contractor signs off on everything, we then schedule the closing, which usually takes 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the paperwork. At this point, we will already be in a handshake agreement, so this process will be structured around your availability.
After we schedule closing, there is nothing else for you to do! We are really just waiting on the formal paperwork. Once that comes in, we simply sign the agreements at the title agency we agree to, and everything is wrapped up.
You walk away from the property with cash in hand.
